Every year, NAVROM transports over 8 million tons of different goods: minerals, charcoal, cement, limestone, cereals, fertilizers, rolled goods, etc. These goods go through both internal (to/from Galati, Constanta, Cernavoda, Medgidia, Mahmudia, etc) and external routes towards/from Ukraine, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria and Germany. 

The port of Constanta represents the key access point both for the input and output of the cargoes for the river transport.     

For the transportation of goods, the company fleet consists of pushers of 800-3600 HP, tugboats of 560 HP, covered and open barges with capacities range between 1000 - 3000 to, schleps of 1000 to and barge-tanks of 1300to capacity. Using these type of ships, one can assure the transportation of up to 14 500 tons of goods in a single convoy on internal routes, and 10.000 tons on external routes.  

Taking advantage of an IFC/World Bank's loan, NAVROM started in 2006-2007 a modernization program of the fleet (in a first phase upgrading and complete fitting out of 14 line liner pushboats), program that continued up to present days and will continue in the future, both for the propelled fleet and for non propelled fleet.

The company is specialized in bulk cargo transshipment, forwarding, custom formalities assistance and ship agency services. It operates in direct transshipment (sea vessels - barges/ barge - sea vessels) over 2 million tons/year.

Operational berths:
  • MBMs - multi-buoy mooring system - PG 1, PG 2 - which could accommodate Cape - size and Panamax type sea vessels. MBM system represents an innovation for Constanta Port. It enables operation of the sea vessels on both boards, resulting in up to 75% incresed operation rates.
  • Berths 129, 130, 131 and 136 - loading/ discharging of Handymax and Panamax sea vessels.
  • Berth 100 – 101 - direct transshipment: wagons - barges and barges/sea vessels - wagons of grains, urea, silicon carbide, alumina, etc.

Canopus runs a terminal in the port of Constanta with a storage capacity of 110,000 tons grain in silos and warehouses. It provide reception and delivery to / from any type of transport unit: ships, barges, trucks and wagons. The depth water berth enables us operation of heavy ships (Panamax). 
Our highly productive equipment guarantees the operating rules of 15,000 tons / day.
The terminal has its own dryer.

Trans Europa acts as port operator in Galati, Braila and Turnu Severin offering both handling and storage of bulk and general goods. In all its branches Trans Europa offers proper facilities (silo, storage platforms, cranes) for general and bulk cargo handling and storage.

BUNKER TRADE LOGISTIC S.R.L.

Bunker Trade Logistics SRL Constanta (BTL) in partnership with OMV Petrom SA and TTS Operator SA offers bunker services for river/maritime vessels with diesel fuel through Bunker Station 628.

BTL deliveres fuels  produced by OMV Petrom SA in its own refineries. Bunker station is located at berth 100 South Constanta Port.

The bunker station operates in fiscal warehousing regime.

Bunker station 628 is designed to receive goods from trucks, wagons and ships.

Agrimol Trade SRL was set up in 2010 and is based in Bucharest. Agrimol’s main trading activity is export of the sawn timber and semi-finished products with collaboration with over 40 mills.
